Title: Permayouth

Description:

The global permayouth is a remarkable generative network of young people connecting to learn together about positive practical ways to bring positive change through permaculture. These thoughtful and articulate [pr]activists have also been transforming the way permaculture is shared - pioneering intergenerational, online perma[cultural] learning spaces, conversations and festivals of music, film and photography - supporting on-the ground action in each location. A surprising, but wonderful, emergence is the flourishing of Permayouth hubs across the East African refugee settlements. In this session, Morag, speaking on behalf of the youth, will share the story of how this movement has come to be, how it thrives, how it is bringing regeneration practices to degraded landscapes, and making a difference - and in the sharing will incorporate the voices of the youth.
