Programme Description

We are very happy to invite you to the EDE Program in La Bella Ecoaldea, a beautiful valley at the foothills of the Andes Montains, 3 ½ hours south of Santiago de Chile. The program is hosted by “The Land of the Arts”, an internal project of the ecovillage that shares Transformative Gatherings and Residential Educational Programs.

La Bella Ecovillage’s vision is to be a consistent example of sustainability, harmony and eco-social regeneration for those who visit and live there. In this way, La Bella intends to contribute to the cultural and paradigmatic shift of humanity, which allows all human beings to achieve a healthy life on a physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual level.

We offer the EDE program in 3 workshops of 9 days each: Economic Dimension 4-12 jan 2020, Social Dimension 20-28 feb 2020 and Ecological Dimension 4-12 apr 2020. The Worldview Dimension and Systemic Design is woven through all the transformative process and learning experience. Our main value is the expansion of consciousness, at an individual and collective level. Eco Villagers and facilitators of the program share a commitment to spiritual growth life, each one in different spiritual paths and practices, thus sharing some of the practices from different traditions. Offering the EDE is one of our ways of our Socially Engaged Spirituality.

La Bella Ecoaldea

La Bella is an EcoVillage in transition and constant improvement. We innovate, design and implement Peace as a way of life together with Econsciousness and Sumak Kausay.

In a Human Settlement with a focus on Ecosocial Regeneration, we live as a family in the middle of a protected nature.

How to run an EDE?

Several of our EDE graduates have carried on organising EDE programmes in their local areas, and you are warmly encouraged to do so after completing your course.

The recommended time frame of an EDE is four weeks, however this is not fixed and varies with each individual programme.

The material can be condensed into smaller workshops, spread out over a longer period, or distributed in blocks at different times and locations.
