Massimo is Ecovillage Torri Superiore Founder, Farmer, and Social Entrepreneur. Together with his partner Lucilla Borio, Massimo has been responsible for the retrofitting and the management of the medieval village Torri Superiore over 25 years.
One of the founders of the Italian Permaculture Academy, he current serves as President, having conducted some of the first PDCs is Italy.
Massimo is one of the 23 educators that founded Gaia Education in 2005 and a teacher at the School of Sustainable Practices of Cascina Santa Brera, S. Giuliano Milanese. He currently serves as Vice-President of “Le Terre di Confine” a network of six local enterprises to create ecologically sustainable and socially just work opportunities in the Ventimiglia area.
